The EcoKidz Family Challenge is an interactive family program suited for families with children younger than 14 years,  It is designed to keep the kids engaged as we explore various conservation challenges with your guide whilst visiting the amazing Eco-Catz.

 At the end of the tour, pledge your commitment to becoming a Tenikwa EcoKid, Each participating child will receive a certificate and educational booklet.

A No Touching Policy is enforced on this tour.

Children Policy

This is a program designed especially for children and their family. It is suitable for all ages, and the tour content is designed for the 5-14 year age group. For safety reasons,  parents may be requested to pick their very young children up, or if the guide feels that the situation is unsafe, small children will need to remain outside a particular walkway with one parent.

Dress Code

There is no specific dress code, however bags and backpacks will not be allowed to be carried on tour.

All guests including children must wear shoes on the program

Group Size

This is a group program.  We normally try to limit the size of the group to two families.

Weather Policy

The EcoKidz Family Challenge is an all weather program. Rain jackets are provided in inclement weather.

Photography Policy

Guests are welcome to take photographs of the cats during the tour. Flash photography is prohibited and Flashes must be disabled. Selfie-sticks are not allowed in the enclosures. “Selfies” with the cats in the background are not allowed.   The guides may not take photographs on your behalf.
