Forest and Fur Combo
R0.00picnic and wildlife tour.
Activity start time : 09h30 or 11h00
Enjoy a 2 hour guided forest walk along historical logging paths in our private forest reserve. This protected forest is home to giant hardwood trees, interesting fungis, mushrooms and orchids, with paths that meander down to mossy, pebbled streams. Spot the brilliant flash of red from the Knysna Loerie and if you are lucky, you may see the rare and shy Narina Trogon. Let our guide reveal the secret life of the forest to you.
The walk culminates in a secret forest glade where (weather depending) we stop for a picnic lunch before heading back along the trail and out of this enchanting world of green.
The second part of this combo activity is a 1 hour guided tour to see the indigenous wild cats of South Africa and other local wildlife.
